Early Resident of S. L., 92, Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Annie Ransom Littlewood, 92, 11571/2 W. 5th North, early Utah settler, died Sunday at 5:05p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of causes incident to age.
Born Jan. 5, 1860, in Battle, Sussex, England, she was a daughter of Alfred and Charlotte Catt Ransom. At the age of 16 she came to Utah, and had resided in Salt Lake City since that time.
She was married to Joseph Martin Littlewood on Dec. 11, 1879, in the old Salt Lake Endowment House, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
She had been active in the Twenty-ninth L D S Ward for many years.
She has 179 living descendants, including three sons, Alfred H., Raymond J. and Leo W. Littlewood, all of Salt Lake City; five daughters, Mrs. Charlotte (Lottie) Luker, Mrs. Alfred (Hattie) Sorensen, Mrs. A. E. (Olive) Smith, and Mrs. L. R. (Rhea) McRae, all of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. J. J. (Teed) Harris, Lomita, Cal.
She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Jennie Ransom Dewsnup, Salt Lake City, 57 grandchildren, 107 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
