I, THE UNDERSIGNED, JOHN CHAPMAN, of Irchester, Wheelwright, hereby Give Notice, that I have Purchased the Business of a WHEELWRIGHT which has for the last twelve months been carried on by my son WILLIAM CHAPMAN, at Higham End, Rushden, and that the said Business will henceforth be carried on by me on the same premises, in my own name. My son will for the present act as my Manager, but he has no authority to order goods, and I will not be responsible for any goods supplied to the said Business except upon my written order.
