In the Name of God Amen: The Tow [sic] and Twentyeth day of January in the yeare of our Lord one Thousand Six hundred and Ninety: I Edward Blowes of Reed in the County of Hertford Carpenter : being at present in perfect minde & memory thankes bee To God for ye same doe make and ordayn this my Last will and Testament in manner and forme following that is to say - In pr[imi]s I giue and bequeath my soule to Allmighty God my maker hopeing through his mercyes and the meritts of my Redeemer Jesus Christ for pardon : & Remission of of [sic] all my sinnes and my body to christian Buryall at the discretion of my executrix : hereafter named: And as for my wordly Goods that hath pleased God to blesse me with I doe here by Giue and disposse of them as followeth Item I giue and bequeath and devise vnto my Loveing daughter Ellen Cesar the wife of Mr Edward Cesar : and her heires and assignes : all that my message [sic] or Tenement with every parte of it wherein I now dwell with all the out houses farm ???y yard : orchars [sic] and Gardens thervnto belonging with Ther and every of ther [sic] appurtenances scittuate in Reed aforesaid and Allso Tow pick& [sic] of pasture Called ?oxfons (?) pickles : to the said message [sic] or Tenement adjoyneing with ther & every of ther appurtenances scituate in Reed Aforesaid now in my occupation and possession : with all my Goods & chattels whatsoever after my decease Item I do hereby make my Loueinge duaghter Mrs Ellen Cesar Aboue said my whole and sole Executrix of this my Last will and Testament Revokeing Annulling and makeing voyde all former wills and Allso all other deeds of gifte & writings to ye Contrary whatsoever Made by me ?any since heretofore to my son John Blowes deceased or to his heires ??? ???in ??? or Assignes of or Conserning any parte or parcell of my estate Reall or personall in Reed Aboue said : Item I doe giue and bequeath vnto my grand child John Blowes the summe of One shillinge onely & noe more : to be paid to him or his assignes in Tenn dayes after my decease : Item I giue and bequeath to my daughter dorcas Bayes wife of Richard Bayes of Barkway Lab?er the summe of fifty shillings and noe more To be paid to her or her assignes by my Executrix Twelve monthes after my decease Item I giue and bequeath to Lettice wattson of Buckland my daughter widdow : the summe of fiue shillings to be paid her or her assignes Twelve monthes after my decease Item I giue to my Tow Grand children Ann and Elizabeth Blowes fiue shillings Apeec: & noe more and Allso to my daughter mary Tulchyn widow : four shillings and noe more and to mary my son Johns Late wife now Called Mary web I doe hereby giue & bequeath five shillings and noe more : and I doe order and appoynt these Last fouer Legasyes vizt to my Tow Grandchildren Ann And Elizabeth and Allsoe the Lagasyes abouesd to my daughtr [sic] Mary Tulchyn : widow & Mary Web : to be paid them by my executrix fifteen monthes after my decease & not before And wheras my son John Blowes deceased and Mary Blowes his then wife did fraudelently and wickedly Against my will knowledge or consent take & Carry away out of my house at Reed about seven yeares Agoe I being then sick : All my writeings and deeds of my estate in Reed afore said and haue ever since & still doe : detayne wrongfully from mee the said deeds and writings Allthough I haue many times demanded them & ??? to haue them restored to me Againe ??? they haue not don [sic] : I do therfore here by this my Last will and testament declare all those deeds & writings & every p[ar]te of them to all intents constructions & purposes to be null & voyde and of no force or power to hinder or ???ate this my Last will and Testament In wittnesse wherof I haue herevnto sett my hand & seale the day & yeare Aboue written The marke + of Edward Blowes Sealed signed published & declared to be the Last will and Testament of the said Edward Blows : in ye presenc [sic] of Ann Cockett Junr Alice Brattell John: Cockett Rector of Reed I Ellen Caesar of Reed in the County of Hertford Gent'n doe swear: that I doe beleeve this writeinge to be the Last will of Edward Blowes deceased and I will perform the same by payinge his debte and the Legasyes therin given soe far as his goods will extend & the Law charge mee and bringe In an Inventory and An account when I shall be thertoo Lawfully Called wittnesse my hand: The marke + of Ellen Cesar : July 21th [sic] 1692 Ellen Caesar executrix infra nominat?
